Vegetarian Meal Plan & Recipes App Reviews

Recipes good. App needs work

Theres the $1.99 subscription cost which is not terrible as long as the recipes keep updating. There is no account to sign into so if you have on a phone it wont sync with an iPad. And no website. You can use it on multiple devices but you need to manually update your selections on each device separately. A list for each days meals would be a good option. The pictures are nice, but Id like to see a list. There is no nutritional or calorie information so you will need to input the recipes into a separate app for that. There is no way that I found to print a recipe. You can email a picture of it.

Perfection

This app is exactly what I was looking for! The recipes are mouth-watering. Its simple to use and understand. My favorite feature is the little shopping cart you can touch on each recipe youre interested in making and it will generate one shopping list for you. My poor kids are going to be bummed we wont be eating out anymore!

Quick, easy, tasty recipes

This app is easy to use and features healthy, delicious, simple recipes complete with a shopping list. This app makes meal planning for a healthy lifestyle easy. I especially like that I can see an entire week of meals and then save recipes to favorites. Works great on my iPad and iPhone too!

App issues

I signed up for the app. And I think the developer is misinterpreting what the customers are saying in the review of the app. No one expects you to give away your app for free. I don’t mind paying a premium or subscription for the app. But it is not upfront. You download the app, sign up putting info in then it asks for a trial and to pay for it. Out of pure curiosity I did so. Not know exactly what the inside of the app looks like only seen a few pics before downloading. Once I signed up for the app and subscription I did not get access to the recipes/meal plans. It would stay on that screen. I closed out the app and restarted it, then it made me put in my info again and try to subscribe again. I ended up deleting, but I would still like to use the app. Hopefully the developer doesn’t write the people off that are mentioning the issue and try to make the app more understandable on what it would like for their customers to do.

Change to a paid app in the App Store

Before you can explore anything in the app, you have to subscribe to an auto-renewing payment plan. I have no idea how the app works or if it's worth the money since that's not an option. This is pretty deceptive making it "free" from the App Store

I don’t appreciate the tactics

Free for a week but you have to sign up to see anything. No.

Several Non-vegetarian recipes

Under the headings of vegetarian chili recipes, there were several non-vegetarian recipes, some with beef, some with chicken, at least one with pork. I looked for a way to contact the developer from the app, but couldn’t find it, so I’m leaving this review, hoping this issue gets addressed

Immediately uninstalled

I thought the whole marketing technique of “sign up and give us all your information” and then “oh by the way you have to pay to use anything” tactic was over. Apparently not. I gave them my name, email, body weight, and age, and was ready to look at some recipes. I was suddenly hit with a “Try free for a week!” button and had access to nothing. If it costs anything to use the app, just make it up front and charge to download the app. Please don’t make me go through the process of putting in all my information to find out it’s not free. I understand app developers need to make money, but please don’t do it this way. Make premium features/recipes or something.

Poor UI, ported from Android, forced subscription

They don’t let you use the app unless you subscribe to the $9.99 a month plan. The ui is crappy and it’s a buggy experience overall. It’s laughable how they think they deserve $9.99 a month. I’d give zero stars if I could.

Not worth it!

This app has limited vegetarian recipes, terrible photos of the food, a bad interface and is insanely overpriced. I felt insulted after I downloaded it. Garbage!

Limited

One recipe a day unless you subscribe to the monthly plan of $9.99. Also does not list protein, carb and fat grams. Very limited. Not worth the $$.

Scam

You only get 4 dinner recipes free, the rest is $4.99/month!!

Scam you only get 4 recipes

Don't bother installing. You'll have to pay to get more than 4 recipes
